Engineers who are working in Qatar must get a UPDA/MMUP license in order to renew their Engineering Visa and transfer QIDs from one company to another. To get the UPDA/MMUP license, one must first clear the UPDA/MMUP exam.

UPDA Qatar CIVIL EXAM PATTERN:

UPDA/MMUP license exam is a CBT (Computer-based test) consisting of 25-27 MCQs with a time limit of 1 hour. There will be no negative marks, and for each correct answer, you will score four marks. Applicant requires a minimum 50% score to clear the exam.

The exam will be conducted in the Baladiya Office located in Doha Municipality Building, B Ring Road. Once you finish your test, you have to wait for a few minutes to get to know your result. If you pass the exam, you have to pay license fees (300 QAR) to get your license immediately.
