Oman Nurse Exam Syllabus for Nurses (OMSB)
The Oman Nurse Exam is an essential step for nurses seeking to practice in Oman. How to Schedule a Prometric Exam?
To schedule a Prometric exam, you need to visit the Prometric website.
On the Prometric website click “SCHEDULE YOUR EXAM”. Where you are required to select your exam ( DHA, SCFHS, DHP ).
Note: From December 2022, Oman remove test centers from prometric. You can now book from Pearson VUE
For the DHA exam, first, you are required to generate a DHA CBT Eligibility ID. To generate ID click “Generate Eligibility” on the DHA exam page. It will redirect to a new page.
You have to provide a DHA Unique ID, Category, Title, and Specification. If you don’t have a DHA Unique ID, you need to register a DHA account to generate a DHA Unique ID. You required a minimum of 2 years of experience to appear in the DHA exam.
Once you generate the DHA CBT Eligibility ID, proceed to schedule the exam on the DHA exam page where you have to provide the Eligibility Number and the First 4 characters of your last name( as provided on the DHA website). Submit to proceed to check the exam availability.
For SCFHS you require an Eligibility ID to schedule the exam. To generate an Eligibility ID, you must first complete your Primary Source Verification (PSV) through the DataFlow Group and register on the SCHS website
For OMSB(Oman) and DHP(Qatar), you can schedule your exam without an Eligibility ID.
To book the exam click the “Schedule” option on the exam page. You will be redirected to the exam policy page. You are required to confirm the age requirement and agree with the data privacy to proceed to schedule your Prometric exam.
Next, provide the accommodation details. If you have pre-approved accommodation, select yes and provide the eligibility number and the first 4 characters of your last name. If you don’t have pre-approved select ‘NO’ and proceed. In case you wish for accommodation you have to contact your test sponsor.
Next, select your profession, and provide the address of the city and the date range under which you wish to schedule your exam.
You can choose your date range within 2 weeks. Click next to find the list of centers with addresses having seat availability under the date range provided by you.
Confirm your test center and time. On the next page, you need to provide basic details like your name (same as on your passport), address, nationality, email ID, DOB, and government ID details (passport). After providing all required details proceed next to make payment to schedule your Prometric exam
Exam fee for Nurse Specialist: $206.00
Exam fee for Registered General Nurse: $225.00
You can apply for a License after passing the Prometric exam and completing your PSV. You have to meet the minimum experience requirement to apply for a license. PSV is provided by Dataflow Group, it takes 30-45 days to complete the verification. Dataflow verification is a complicated process.
One must be very careful while providing the details and documents to Dataflow Group. It is highly recommended to contact an organization, which provides a Dataflow verification service.
